Does NowSage compete with ServiceNow's Build Agent?
No. Build Agent creates new applications in Studio and IDE workflows. NowSage runs, audits, and maintains the instance you already have. Most teams will use both.
What does NowSage need to connect?
An instance URL and a service account with roles you choose. NowSage works within whatever access you grant and reports clearly when a step needs a role it does not have.
Can it change my instance without me knowing?
No. Every write goes through an approval gate, is verified after it lands, and is recorded in the session audit trail with one-click undo.
Do I need Studio, an IDE, or Now Assist licensing?
No. NowSage is chat-first and talks to your instance through standard ServiceNow APIs.
